A webhost can be fun too, you know.
Sound off!

I'm So Mad I'm Afire!!
I just read here that the major oil companies just posted RECORD PROFITS!
What the hell?? This country's reeling from one disaster after another and they're using it as an excuse to RIP US OFF???
Gas here is over $2.60! There is NO EXCUSE for this!!
You guys are doing the right thing! I hope you break it off in them!!

I continue to hear the media report that the price of gas is high, not because there's a shortage of crude, but because there's not enough refining capacity. In fact, fellow "Bad Politics" blogger, Oleg Dulin, has reported this on his blog from time-to-time. If this was true, then why did the President release 30 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and attribute the drawdown to Katrina? If we have a lack of refining capacity, then increasing the supply of crude seems rather dumb. Why does the media continue to report incorrectly? Are they in bed with the oil giants?

Successes & Strategies
Sirs, I feel I am in compliance with the program as I am retired except for I pastor a church. Also I volunteer 1 day a week in drug and alcohol center. One other day I have to do my shopping so my car is parked 4 days a week. 0n fixed income there is not much else to do. Thanks for national concern. After investigations started gas prices have fallen 53 cents a gallon. Lets all keep up the work.

Thank you for the web site! I didn't realize how many times I went to the grocery (sometimes 3 times!!) in one day. You're right! I've just been too lazy to plan. And I'm really not rich or anything, it was just a habit. I'm going to let it set AND start cut down on the miles I travel on the days I do drive.
